Is Alifeinbeautyam a Maybelline New Yorker???

Hi Beauties :)

As you know its 'TRY IT DAY' today so I will testing three Maybelline New York products. As you know I am a massive fan of Maybelline and couldn't wait to try these out! :)

The Maybelline products are on offer for 3'for'2 at the moment in Superdrug, Boots and Asda (so that an excuse to stock up) :)

The Testing
MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO MONO 605 IN BEIGE NUDE/NAKED BEIGE
MAYBELLINE DREAM TOUCH BLUSH 06
MAYBELLINE COLOURSENSATIONAL LIPMARKER 480 SHY RED

MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO

THE GOOD
The eyeshadow is very pigmented, has a light shimmer. lasts all day and has a good amount of eyeshadow in the packaging.
THE BAD
The packaging could be a little more attractive and the eye shadow could be less shiny/shimmery when put onto the eye socket.
THE REVIEW
Overall I think the eyeshadow is great value (£4.99) has brilliant pigmentation, but has too much shimmer, I think the eyeshadow is great if you want a nude base with a shimmer that catches the light, this would be perfect if you wanted to channel the 1940's look. This eyeshadow is best suited to medium to dark skin types, as it shows up more, unless you want a natural look, for lighter skin types.
MAYBELLINE DREAM TOUCH BLUSH 06

THE GOOD
The blush has excellent pigmentation, has a rich colour and goes on smoothly onto the skin. The blush can be as light as you want or built up in colour, just by adding more layers. The blush is smooth to put on the skin, so you can easily apply it with your fingers if you like. The packaging is very cute and can easily fit in your bag or clutch.
THE BAD
I don't think the blush has any faults.
REVIEW
Overall I think the blush will suit all skin types and is very versatile.

MAYBELLINE COLOURSENSATIONAL LIPMARKER

 MAYBELLINE COLOURSENSATION LIPMARKER
THE GOOD
The Lipmarker is perfect if you don't want to commit yourself to a lipstick or a lipgloss and is easy to apply.
THE BAD
The Lipmarker needed to be applied up to three times in order to have a stain (and I choose the darkest colour) and completely comes off your lips as soon as you have a drink.
THE REVIEW
Overall I think the Lipmarker is perfect if you want a barely there shade on your lips for a natural look.

Overall I am pleased with the products, they can be versatile, you can create a natural or dark look with them, just be adding more base colour and maybe adding more products to the mix. I will be using these products everyday with other products, but I think the products are best suited to natural beauties or beauties that want a smooth base to work on. :)

Beauties have you tried Maybelline products before? or would like to test them? Let me know....

xoxo
